What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
Core is a perfect midrange for both professionals and amateurs. The flight is predictable and stable, with a slight fade at the end. This can be used for both hyzer throws and long turnovers.

I had one of these about 5 or 6 years ago. I remember it being very straight overall with a very mild S shape. Little turn, little fade. Very comfortable rim for me, I enjoyed the feel. Plastic of course being great being Trilogy, I really like most blends they have. Especially the clear Opto or Lucid/VIP. (Nivå på anmelder: Profesjonell)
I have an Opto Core that is one of many mids I carry and I use it for straight backhand approach shots exclusively. Thrown flat it will turn slightly and fade back a bit. It can easily be manipulated to fade or turn more or less depending on the shot shape you want. I never throw it forehand since it turns and rolls even with a lot of hyzer. The Core is very similar to the Claymore with the Claymore winning this spot in my bag after a 100' throw-in. I would consider it a good mid for a beginner. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
This is my go to mid range for easy distance and control. It is a great disc to learn shot shaping with because it will hold whatever line you put it in (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
This has been my go to disc for years now. I started with a gold line 175 and it quickly became the only mid i needed. I now can throw it on a straight line about 300 ft. It holds whatever line you put it on. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
I picked up a core as a turnover midrange but got a weird Emac truth. This disc was much more stable than I had anticipated. Our of the box I expected this disc to start on hyzer, then flip to flat and ride to the right a little before coming back but it ended up just flying on a hyzer. This disc is good at holding lines because it will hold the line you put it on but I didn't find it to work well with what I was looking for. This is a very small rimed disc so it might work for a beginner who doesn't need much stability on a disc but the core is just not for me. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
