What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

The first 12-speed disc to use GYRO Overmold technology is also the first disc in the Simon range, designed by Simon to showcase the best a 12-speed disc can offer. It has enough glide and turn to create a truly impressive cast, but also just the right amount of fade to make it predictable and controllable. In terms of feel in the hand, the 22mm rim width represents a perfect compromise between speed and maximum comfort, while the gentle dome makes the Time-Lapse fantastic for backhand throws while adding a little extra glide!

Recommended area of use:

Neutron Plastic:
Neutron plastic is made with opaque plastic with clear colors that are easy to find. This plastic is similar to Innova's Star plastic. Neutron plastic gives the disc a neutral flight and gives the disc neither overstable nor understable characteristics.

I have a blue first-run stock stamp that I got on release day and have been throwing regularly. It's not as beefy as folks online would lead you to believe. Thrown hard and flat it gets a nice gentle turn before a long pushing fade, and it goes FAR! I've been consistently getting it out to 425-450ft with nice tight lines, not the giant S-flight of a less stable disc. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Axiom delivered a great distance driver for high power throwers distance, great feeling plastic, smooth but enough grip, and a decent pop top dome. This disc, at least this first run in the axiom plastic, is certainly intended for big arms. There is significant glide and a bit of turn too but you won't tap into that unless you are throwing in that 400-500+ foot range, or into reasonably strong headwind. For most players, it's gonna be a meathook disc that doesn't go very far and has consistant flight even in a headwind. (Nivå på anmelder: Profesjonell)
