What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
Defy is a slightly slower max distance driver. The Defy is a driver with good glide, and will give most players both spin and a reliable fade. It's great for both accurate shots in the woods and full power shots in the open fairways.

The Defy is a great overstable-ish driver. For me, it's not a max distance or every throw variety of driver; I find it fills more of a distance, angle, and wind control role much better. I really like it for high FH Hyzers, when there's either OB or other obstacles to worry about. I stand by proton as the most durable plastic on the market- I not only bought mine used, but I've hit anything and everything and hat no notable changes in the flight. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
I mostly throw MVP/Axiom discs and despite the main summary above, I would not describe the Defy as a heavily seasoned MVP Photon or a longer Axiom Crave. As an intermediate player expecting to get 325+ feet out of good drives, I'd say the Defy is much shorter and way more stable than a seasoned MVP Photon (or new Photon for that matter) and not even close to being as long as the Axiom Crave, despite the Crave being rated at less than 7 speed. I absolutely love this disc. I can count on it's performance everytime. Dead straight with a nice fade. It feels so good when it comes out of your hand with that nice snap of your fingers dislodging from the plastic. It has been super durable and my distance has been getting better and better using this disc. Started off around 300'. Now that I am getting my nose down situation fixed, 350 is an easily obtainable distance. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
Wow. Just wow. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
My experience with this disc is that it hits the description nearly dead on. I don't have pro power for sure but, I can put a lot of power into this disc and it will hold it's line. Any line. For a long time. Then fade very predictably. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
