What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
The Prodigy Disc M2 is an extremely reliable midrange, designed to be slightly overstable but provide incredibly consistent throws and control. The M2 is good for all conditions and flies as well into the wind as it does with the wind.
Recommended areas of use:
Casting against the wind
Controlled casts
Straight cast with fade
Flight rating:
Speed: 5
Glide: 4
Turn: 0
Fade: 2
300 plastic:
300 is a special compound that can withstand hard hits against trees and rocks, but breaks down over time to a less stable version. The plastic has been developed for optimal grip and good feel for putters and midrange.

The M2 and MX-3 flew very similar for me. I couldn't get a clean release with a power grip on either disc. I am a newer player of 2 years. The M2 flies straight with a small fade at the end when I use fan grip and when I throw with less then 70% power. When I throw with power grip and 70% power, it has a -1 turn and 1 fade. It isn't even broken in yet. I am disappointed because I expected it to be more stable... but it isn't. In my experience anyway. The plastic feels really good. I just wish the numbers lined up with how it flew. The emac truth flies like I expected this disc to fly. In the end, I will keep throwing with this disc but the Emac truth is the disc that will be in my bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The M2 is a great mid range in the prodigy lineup for all players, but intermediate and above will find all kinds of uses for it. The M2 is a slightly overstable mid range that will hold straight for a lot of the flight and have a decent finish if thrown flat. The M2 will hyzer sharply if thrown on a steep hyzer but will glide on a slight hyzer line for a long sweeping hyzer. When thrown on anhyzer you can get some really creative and intuitive lines with it. The M2 has enough stability to fight out and finish if thrown softly on that anhyer line and when thrown with power, it can hold that angle and slowly pan to flat. It is an extremely useful and needed midrange for people who enjoy prodigy discs. The only grip I have with this disc is that the hand feel is not my favorite. The shape is not my first choice but the discs flight makes up for the not so great hand feel. A lot of people love how it feels so it just depends on what kind of mid shape you like. Classic prodigy, love the plastic feel. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
I love the 400 M3 and 500 M4 I bought, but quickly the M3 went from being 'slightly overstable' to 'straight' and the M4 went from 'straight' to 'understable' and I had a gap in my bag. The M2 has filled it perfectly. Reliable but controlled fade and its torque resistance is definitely satisfactory for a somewhat overstable disc. If you like how the M3 feels but want something more overstable, get an M2 yesterday. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Nice workable mid! (Nivå på anmelder: Profesjonell)
