What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Boss is the disc that holds the world record for the longest throw ever thrown with a golf disc. David Wiggins threw 338 meters in the desert in 2016. Now it's the Tour Series disc for Big Jerm, and now comes in the Halo Champion plastic!

It is obviously designed for maximum length if you have enough arm strength. It has a little more turn and speed than Destroyer, which gives it that little extra in terms of length.

Very overstable, will go FAR if yeeted with sufficient oomph. That being said, I hate the way it feels in the hand. The wing feels rather larger than the rim feels deep. Maybe its perfect for some people or situations but definitely not for me (Nivå på anmelder: Profesjonell)

The innova Boss is a bomber in star plastic, fairly overstable when new, but when it gets beat it gets real straight with a good bit of turn. Needs a lot of fairway for the true flight, but can get crazy distance. I mostly throw mine forehand on a little hyzer and it flips right up and just goes. The champion plastic is a good bit more stable, when thrown with a touch of anhyzer will glide for days before dumping back out. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

I have a champ boss that is my go to for long hyzer forehand shots. It is torque resistant and has a reliable fade but has just enough turn to flip it up flat if thrown on a baby hyzer. I don't like to throw this disc backhand though. The rim is too big to be comfortable in my hand there is a very noticeable difference in rim size between this and a destroyer even though there is only one number difference in speed. I have 2 of these discs, a blizzard and a star. For the star one it feels OK in the hand. On backahnd i typically throw this on slight anhyzer and it goes around 120-130meters (360-400ft). I highly reccomend this plastic The blizzard one is among the most overstable discs i have ever thrown, even when thrown on a strong anhyzer angle and full power it fights back. It averages 5-10 meters shorter due to this but i probablly just got a outlier. Still a great disc (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
