What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Man I love the X3! It is amazing! Recently received one as a gift and it might kick the pigs out of my bag! It feels great out of the hand and is almost identical to the zone. I will probably add this where I would put my new pigs and keep one beat in pig to cover the slots a little better. Great disc and hard to beat! It feels great both backhand and forehand which is essential to me for an approach disc. Hard to go wrong! (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
A very good disc for what it claims to do, overstable approach. Personally, I found it to be too deep to forehand, which is my preferred approach shot but it is defiantly overstable. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
This review is for max weight star plastic. I've used the aviarx3 a lot in my last 5 rounds of golf. NOT A ZONE - and I love it for that. I love a zone (bag two of them) but this does something special for me the zone doesn't. If I'm in the woods and tackling a scramble, this just feels like the best disc in the world. For me, it backhands and forehands really well. I threw a forehand roller with it today. It's definitely overstable but i wouldn't call it a beefcake. You can lay into this disc two. My max with it is about 300 feet. Still getting to know this disc but I already am trusting it and starting to lean on it. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
The AviarX3 is my go to approach putter. I use it mostly for forehand upshots but if there is some wind, im reaching for this disc for my backhand as well. This disc is not very beginner friendly due to how overstable it is but if you have a good touch forehand, highly recommend it for you're bag. I currently bag a star AviarX3 but have bagged a Luster one in the past. Both work great however I would recommend a max weight one in whichever plastic you like best.
