What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

DX Aero (180g) - I picked up one of these on a whim and kept it. Other reviewers have noted that it is glidey and that is definitely true. This is maybe the closest disc to an ultimate disc I've tried. That comes with some pros and cons though; namely, this disc is fairly understable if thrown with power and will turn over on you in unexpected ways. But if thrown with control and flat I've found that I can sort of air-bounce this thing so that it glides right up to the basket. As others have noted, I found the rim depth and width to be prohibitive to forehanding it, but maybe that's just an issue with my technique. My only real complaint is with the plastic and even then its not really a complaint. Its sort of an older style DX plastic which I found to be very stiff, stiffer than other DX discs I have like a new AviarX3. If you like domey, stiff discs like the R-Pro Dart you may want to pick one of these up before they're unavailable permanently. The flight is similar to the Dart though, albeit the Dart has a smaller diameter, but you could always try one of those if you can't find the Aero. And at this point maybe it goes without saying, but I don't putt with this thing. Its just a little too big and glidey for a consistent putt, at least with my putting technique. This disc is LEGENDARY. So controllable either as dead straight or a mini flex for distance - AMAZING GLIDE. I really, REALLY wish they would start making the star ones again. On a small elevation change I've this thing up to 500' and on a steeper slope it went out to 700'. It will just carry and it fits in my hand so well. An old gem I never really used and have fallen in love with. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
By modern standards this disc should be considered a midrange. Very large diameter, extremely glidey, and fairly understable. You could do much better with almost any other disc as a putter - I think that's why this disc gets some poor reviews. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
This is a very straight flier, keeps its line well whatever angle you release it on. Good for medium distance approaches, but I rarely use it for putting. Its slightly bigger diameter does throw me off at times. Good choice for an 'all putter' round though. I'll use it mostly for 50-75 ft straight, open approaches. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
This disc is great! I honestly don't understand the hate! First, it is not that domey... perhaps it is in the middle, with a xxx from latitude or a Rat from innova being crazy flat, and a River or a Roc plus being really really domey... It falls within these. Also, the diameter is not too bad. It is such a straight disc and will even replace my Mako3 for that straight shot approach disc. This is also useful for very long putts. I would not recommend it for inside the circle putts, as the Aviar, P2, or anything along those lines would be better. However, This is a disc I could gladly putt with if I magically lose both Aviars... Trult the Aero is an underrated disc that all players should have room for in their bag.
