What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

I have been putting with KC pro whales for a couple of months now and really enjoy them. I find them to be consistent in the circle and am confident running them from C2 as well. They have a nice pop and glide to them that took me a while to adjust to at first, but I am well acquainted with them now! These are deep dish putters, so probably not the best for smaller hands (I am 6' and have fairly long fingers). Putting notes: Stable finish, poppy, fairly glidey, clean release. Putter feel: Deep, full, mid size bead, blunt nose. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
The Whale is actually in my bag despite the 3 stars because it's great at one thing: short range forehands. It has just enough stability to be what I need for those forehand approach shots on a variety of angles. I give it 3 stars because it is not great for putting at all and I don't care for it as a throwing putter either. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
I'm not sure what plastic I have my Whale in, but I got it when I was just getting into disc golf as my first putter. It wasn't bad when I didn't know a difference, but I'm not a big fan of it now that I've tried out some other putters. It doesn't fly well, and the plastic feels cheap. I think it's most likely that I have the cheapest plastic available for it because it's rigid and it doesn't feel good. I find that it drops faster with the same amount of effort than other putters with similar numbers. I'd say it's worth getting a better putter in better plastic if you know you're going to use it, but this would be okay for a beginner who doesn't know any better. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
I have a KC pro whale and a gummy c-blend Infinite Myth, and after holding them up next to each other I can confirm they are identical. Great flying disc, similar to a p2. Very deep feeling and bulky in the hand, even more so than a P2/Alpaca/Omega4 type disc. It feels similar to the aforementioned discs in the hand, but with an added bead on the bottom. While I love the flight of these, they are just too tall and deep for me. I would like to give this 3.5 stars because the flight is excellent, but my negative experience with it will not allow me to go past 3. If you have huge hands this may be your jam though. The whale is a beaded putter that has decent fade and works well as a driving putter. I personally don't like the feel of them for putting. The nose seems to protrude from the disc and creates an uncomfortable feel for putting. That said I love this disc for drives. It holds up well and tends to stay on a solid line the whole way. In the Gstar plastic and particularly like it for winter when I need to get up and down reliably. Overall a great disc and would make a solid mold in anyone's bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
