What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

A firebird clone, with the shots to back it up. This disc is one of my favorites from the Trilogy family. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
Handles the higher torque of a forehand release. Can release on heavier anhyzer angle knowing it will ride and flip up before smashing the fade. With enough height it has an almost automatic skip at the end that is reliable (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The Fuzion/Lucid plastics have a smooth release, though don't seem to have as good grippiness as others. I got my Felon slightly used, but it appeared to be in very good shape still (good quality plastic), and if it had started to get beat in at all, I couldn't tell: This is easily among the top 3-4 most overstable discs I have ever thrown. I typically use other discs more often for drives and other shots, but this became a very useful disc when throwing into the wind (giving me just a longer version of the same consistent flight path), or needing reliable hard turns/skips. Performs just as it's supposed to: Never a question about how it was going to travel, which is a nice option to have available in the bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The Felon is my personal choice for a 9 speed OS driver. TBH if you already have something like this or a Firebird and you're already happy with that particular disc it's not gonna fly all that different. But if you're looking for a disc you can trust into just about any headwind or need something you KNOW will fade out for you this is an easy recommendation. Also a good option for newer players lookign to experiment with something really OS (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Everything I need from an overstable fairway. In lucid plastic it has a touch more glide than a firebird but the durability and stability to remain in the bag as a workhorse for a long period. I don't throw much DD at all but this disc nails it. In terms of stability it fits right between a proton volt and a fresh star firebird. I also think it feels great in the hand. If I had to bag only one OS fairway this is it. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
