What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

I bought the insanity in plasma plastic, and I took me a while to get used to throwing it. The rim of the disc is slightly slanted, and paired with the plasma plastic it can become really slick. With my arm speed this disc usually flies straight with a medium amount of fade at the end, or nice little s lines. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

Out of the three plastics I have this mold in (Eclipse, Neutron, Fission), the fission is probably my favorite one. It is a bit flippier than the other two I have and is great for hyzer flips and turnover lines for my arm speed (~400ft). Would highly recommend for everyone and would be a great first driver for a beginner to experiment with. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Love the feel of this fairway driver and it is a great hyzer flip to straight disc for hitting those wooded lines for intermediate power arms as well as straight with a little turn for beginners. Would recommend for just about any level. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Love this mold and have it in three different plasic types. The Eclipse plastic is the most stable and flies more like a beat in Thunderbird than the other plastics. I would definitely recommend this to beginners, paring it with a fission version as well to cover the slightly understable/straight 9 speed slot in the bag but with the same hand feel. This run is basically a firebird or fireball or any other overstable 9 speed. Very fun and very useful, just not what the numbers suggest ! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
