What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
Discraft Athena is a new neutral fairway driver and will be the sixth disc in Paul McBeth's signature series. According to McBeth, it is similar to Anax, but a little slower. Athena will handle fast armspeeds, as well as being easy to control for beginners.

ESP has a fantastic grip combined with very good durability. It gives you the "best of both worlds" when it comes to plastic. It is slightly less overstable than Z-plastic.

Very playable disc with a straight flight and consistent finish for faster arm speeds (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The Athena is one of my all-time favorite discs I have ever thrown. I currently own and bag three of them. The first one I bought was a first-run ESP (168 grams)—that disc BOMBS. I can get that disc to push 400 with a flat release (RHBH). It will drift to the right slightly, but it will always have a dependable fade at the end. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
My favorite disc. With 350 feet of max power this is the perfect disc for my 250-300 foot straight shots. Absolute beauty. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
This is probably my most used disc in my bag. I have so much control with it, particularly on forehands. It flies dead straight for me with a reliable finish and is my go to on tight wooded holes. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Rock solid fairway driver. Stable, but not beefy. Comfortable in the hand. Maybe not quite as glidey as other fairway drivers with 5 glides but still nice and moderate in pretty much all categories. A touch faster than a teebird seemingly, since it has a slightly wider rim (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
