What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

One of the first discs I bought when I started playing disc golf and still in the bag today. As a beginner works well as a moderately overstable driver once you gain a little arm speed. As an intermediate player, great for open s-flight drives that go far. Highly recommend! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
I got this along with several other discs trying to find a best, new driver, so I've not used it a great deal yet having my time & throws spread more thinly; but to this point, I don't think I've had a single bad throw with the Valkyrie, and it consistently gives me greater, straight-forward distance than any of my other discs below 11 speed. Good grip and feel to the disc, nice flight path. Likely to start seeing more regular use from my bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Valkyrie's are excellent for players who are stepping up into the driver game. For newer players it has enough flip to hold fairly straight and as power increases it is excellent for s-curve shots. My younger brother throws this as his primary forehand driver and it gets a nice turn and reliable fade while pushing around 300 feet. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Behaves as an overstable fairway driver (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
I tried this disc a few years ago and it was pretty inconsistent for me. The grip was ok but it just seemed like it acted different every time I threw it. Sometimes it flew overstable other times it turned on me. It didn't make my bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
