What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
If you throw for maximum distance, pick up the Force. This is Discraft's fastest overstable driver with a wide edge and incredible glide that gives you a new level of length potential. It is overstable and intended for experienced players who throw with a lot of power. This is the disc Paul McBeth throws the longest.

ESP has a fantastic grip combined with very good durability. It gives you the "best of both worlds" when it comes to plastic. It is slightly less overstable than Z-plastic.

I got the pink McBeth 4-Claw Z-line force when it first dropped . It was a great run used by many professional players. It flies the way it is supposed to. Very little turn, strong fade. It has a nice pop top but it's not terribly domey. The underside of the flight wing is fairly concave too making it feel quite sharp. A quirk I've found of the force is that when it does turn over in the wind it really doesn't want to come out of it, and therefore it's a bit squirrely and needs a lot of side to side open room to fly. Love this disc. The distance driver version of a firebird. Don't think there's anything as good. Primarily flick player I'll get this thing 350-400. Don't have to worry about it flipping over even in wind and know it will fade but not nose dive. Won't get overly glidey on me which is good too. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
Wow this disc is great. It replaced my enforcer, and when compared to my Horizon Cloudbreaker, Halo Destroyer, and C-Line DD3 it is a solid step up in stability. This thing comes out of my hand fast, like really fast. I can put it on a touch of anhyzer and watch it cruise to 400 feet on a frozen rope. Great headwind disc, great overstable forehand disc, I think everyone could use one of these to try. I think even beginners can get some use learning more powerful forehands and flex forehands for easy distance, but it will almost be a utility disc for them when they start. I've only been playing disc golf since May, so I'm very much a beginner. I've only recently gotten my arm speed up enough to throw the Force, but it's quickly become my go-to overstable driver. If I throw it on a little anhyzer, it flies dead straight for 2/3 of the flight with a consistent fade at the end. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
I recently got a Brian Earhart swirl ESP Force in 167g. I think it's a great disc that really lends itself well to a lighter weight distance driver. I really like to bag lighter weight overstable distance drivers because they maintain their integrity against torque but still have great controllable turn. The Force I have is pretty flat on top which is nice for forehands which I use pretty regularly. The disc has some really nice turn, definitely a -1 when thrown with a good amount of power. The lack of dome really does not lend itself to good glide, but that is just a product of this run. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
